On Travers Day morning, Real Horse Rescues will feature an
exclusive interview with matchmaker extraordinaire Lisa Molloy on Albany's
ABC-WTEN. Lisa is the Executive Director of ReRun Thoroughbred Adoption, based
in Suffolk, Virginia. The organization, formed in 1998, operates in New York
through North Country Horses, under the direction of Amanda Vance.

Viewers can explore the
lives of off-the-track thoroughbreds. Lisa is frank about racehorse injuries,
and how they impact future use. “Each horse that goes through ReRun’s program
is fully examined and evaluated to determine suitability for future
disciplines,” says Lisa. “Prospective adopters have full access to veterinarian
records. Whether a horse is clean, or has arthritis, both are equally deserving
of protection.”
ReRun Thoroughbred Adoption offers thoroughbreds who face an
uncertain future a second chance. On August 29th, viewers will learn how to
apply for, and what to expect, on their journey through the adoption process.
Three ready-to-adopt thoroughbreds, "PeanutsNPopcorn", "My Terms",
and "Elysee" are showcased; each one a stunning bay with a stellar
life ahead. For those of you who dream of a thoroughbred to call their own this is a
must watch episode of Real Horse Rescues.
